Amy applies her experience in organizational psychology, executive coaching and leadership development to help clients create lasting legacies and family continuity. She helps families make a positive impact with their wealth through proven exercises and techniques. Specifically, Amy works with families to articulate and follow their vision and values, communicate and work together more effectively, develop the next generation of leaders, and implement a system of family governance. “Since we’re often dealing with large, multi-generational families, one way to create healthy relationships and a strategy for wealth preservation is to have family members clarify their desires, intentions and expectations. We do this through fostering strong communication skills and developing a shared decision-making process. Creating a safe space for well-needed conversations to occur is key.” Amy has worked with hundreds of business leaders, families and colleagues to help them achieve exceptional results by improving their leadership skills and enhancing their communication effectiveness. She is the co-author of “Coaching for Commitment,” (Third Edition) and certified in a variety of development programs, ranging from family business governance and leadership to trust and communication. She is certified in a number of assessment tools, including Real Colors®, Clifton StrengthsFinderTM, Extraordinary Leader, and Preparing Heirs. Amy earned a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Alliant International University.
